The architectural style of San Felipe del Agua is typical of the natural rural ambiance of the Oaxacan region, with an imposing view of the Mountain of San Felipe del Agua. Hostal Las Cúpulas was built in a style that fits right in.

The hostel is detailed in the old style. For example, the roof is in the Catalan vault style,based on brick and beams at the entrance. Also, there are visual touches made from adobe and natural stone, shells, etc.
