    Barrier Island Station is the perfect place to go on vacation to explore the Outer Banks. There is onsite direct access to one of the area’s last remaining unspoiled beaches, you can swim, sail, windsurf, raft, or just lie on the beach. Lifeguard protected beach. On-site, there is an outdoor pool, children’s pool, playground, tennis and pickle ball courts. The resort has many amenities onsite including a new recreation center and snack bar by the outdoor pool. At the new onsite recreation center there is an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, a regulation size pool table, ping pong table and shuffleboard game, exercise room, and bathrooms and men's & women's showers. There are two giant tv’s for those who wish to relax in an open entertainment area to watch their favorite team sports in action. Barrier Island Station in the north of the Outer Banks is a paradise between the Atlantic Ocean and Currituck Sound. A high demand summer location. Nestled amid sand dunes and sea oats is Barrier Island Station. One of the northern-most communities on the Outer Banks, Duck offers some of the last remaining unspoiled beachfront on the Eastern seaboard. Both the Atlantic Ocean and the sound present excellent water-sport opportunities.
