Over the years our family and extended family have enjoyed staying at this resort (and others all over the world due to the worldly trade ability). From the spacious and all-inclusive accommodations to the variety of amenities from playing 18 holes at the golf course, enjoying the tennis courts, with its two-fitness centre, including, treadmills, elliptical machines, stationary bikes, and multi-station strength training machines, to winding down with a few laps in the heated pool with a beautiful waterfall cascading into the pool and a soak in the hot tub.
Another reason we chose this resort is due to its location. It is 20 minutes to Fort Lauderdale. There are several activities to enjoy such as: Guided Snorkeling Reef Tours and Touring the Flamingo Gardens. It is an 15 minute drive to The Everglades Holiday Park which is full of activities
The Everglades spans 1.5 million acres. It is renowned for the shallow waters that move slowly across the lands that are aptly named “The River of Grass.” The Everglades are made up of sawgrass marshes, diverse ecosystems, and habitats for innumerable species, including many endangered ones. This astounding place is worth visiting for all these reasons and more. This is the place to go for the following activities: Airboat ride; Alligator show; Fishing in the Everglades a memorable experience; Many hikes of all levels can be found in the Everglades. Trails such as the Anhinga Trail or the Gumbo Limbo Trail bring out the best in the Everglades, showcasing a wide range of habitats and wildlife. Yet a another enjoyable experience is to go biking in the Everglades. The Shark Valley Tram Road 15-mile ride is a must do activity.
