    Located on beautiful Nantucket Island, this resort area offers the ultimate in relaxing and restful vacationing. Mariner House is nestled in the heart of town on Centre Street, Nantucket's oldest avenue, laid out in 1678. It is a historical home now divided into six tastefully decorated units. Everything you need is within a short walking distance, and a few minutes away you'll find antique shops, gourmet dining, an art colony and restored homes and museums maintained by the Nantucket Historical Association. There is so much to do in the area, from golf to biking, hiking, sailing, fishing, and virtually all water sports. The beach is accessible by paths leading from the resort. This is a charming place to spend a family vacation or quiet getaway for two.
