Per the owner:
The Tahiti Village is located close to the strip, airport as well as the south outlet mall which is definitely walkable. There are restaurants on site and many restaurants close by. They offer shuttle service to and from the strip everyday, but if you are ambitious you can walk there if you choose. We liked the Tahiti Village for the atmosphere. It has a beautiful lazy river that you cam relax in or a beach that children can play in.
The Tahiti Village is kept clean and managed well. They are constantly trying to make improvements. It's the perfect place to be off the strip or you can easily get to the strip if you want. Also the shuttle will take you for groceries a couple of time a week if you need groceries.

Tahiti Village offers one- and two-bedroom vacation rental accommodations complete with a kitchenette or full-size kitchen, sleeper sofa in the living area, two televisions, and a DVD player. Amenities at this 27-acre master planned resort includes pools, a hot tub, whirlpools, a lazy river, sand volleyball courts, a golf putting green, a reflecting pool with shade cabanas, and 24-hour restaurant. If you just can't get enough of Elvis while in Vegas, head to Elvis-A-Rama. The King still lives at this museum, which showcases more than 2,000 items from the world's largest private collection of Elvis memorabilia. The holdings include letters, jewelry, clothing, records, a speedboat, a 1955 Cadillac limo, and Elvis's famous blue suede shoes. Adding to the appeal are a variety of Elvis impersonators, who perform daily.
