Per the owner:
The Marriott Vacation Club purchase was appealing to us for several reasons. The high quality destinations offered by MVC were especially appealing. We enjoyed memorable vacations to beachfront properties in Hawaii, desert escapes to Palm Springs and Las Vegas weekend get-aways with excellent accommodations on the Las Vegas strip. We experienced the comforts of home with spacious suites, fully equipped kitchens, and premium amenities like pools, spas, and fine dining at every resort we stayed at. Our exchange with Marriott Vacations Points to Marriott Bonvoy points gave us the flexibility to book a Villa we used for a most memorable family reunion.
The ease of use and flexibility of the MVC points was a high water mark for us. The ability to trade our MVC points for Marriott Bonvoy points gave us increased flexibilities and access to Marriott properties. Utilizing our points for airlines tickets, travel insurance and entertainment was also helpful. We were able to use our MVC points in a variety of ways; banking, borrowing and trading our points helped us to curate vacation experiences tailored to our families vacation plans and travel needs.

Marriott Vacation Club
Marriott, a world-renowned hotelier, entered into the timeshare business in 1984. Through their timeshare division, called Marriott Vacation Club International, they have developed exquisite timeshare properties in the most sought-after destinations around the world. In 2010, Marriott introduced Marriott Vacation Club Destinations, a timeshare points system.
Marriott Vacation Club's resorts are often large and provide guests with the amenities of home - including one to three bedrooms, living and dining areas, master bedroom and bathroom, full kitchen, in-unit laundry facilities, and often private balconies.
Most Marriott owners have access to the Marriott Rewards program, which allows owners to trade their weeks in for points that can be used at other Marriott resorts and hotels, as well as other travel-related services.
Note: This program may not be available to owners buying on the resale market. Please check with Marriott before purchasing to confirm all benefits.
Marriott also operates:
- Ritz-Carlton Club: Marriott's fractional ownership club, with a group of even more luxurious resorts.
- Vistana Signature Experiences: Encompassing the Sheraton and Westin resort brands, Vistana Signature Experiences offers stylish villas in some of the most sought-after destinations.
