    We purchased our timeshare in 2004 because we wanted to take winter vacations that were within driving distance of Charlotte, NC. The entire property was so beautiful and full of fun activities - numerous swimming areas and pools, great restaurants all around the property, multiple golf courses to choose from, and of course warm and sunny weather in winter. Having week 52 was a bonus because there was so much going on in the Orlando area because of football bowl games. Having a week 53 added every 5-6 years was an added bonus.

    The only reason we want to part with the timeshare is because we relocated to the Seattle area and the trip to Orlando is just too long and expensive to warrant keeping it.

    Four villages which make up the Orange Lake Resort property, all of which have their own distinct offerings and charm. East Village is noted for its central location to all the action and also its proximity to world-class golfing, plus a pair of calm and relaxing pools. West Village features a clubhouse overlooking the lake, a themed restaurant with patio bar, putt-putt golf, arcade, cabanas and retail shops. River Island is a tropical lover's paradise, centered around a fabulous water park that includes two beach-style pools and a lazy river. North Village is a water lover's delight and offers a smaller, more intimate setting for family fun.

    The spacious air-conditioned villas at the Orange Lake Resort - East Village are spacious and comfortable, the perfect retreat after a long day of activity. These colorful and airy villas feature amenities such as full or partial kitchens, a dining room and living room area, and a satellite TV with DVD player. Every villa is also furnished with a patio or balcony, many of which overlook the golf course. The villas range in size, from studios to three-bedroom units, and can sleep two to twelve guests depending on which configuration you opt for.

    The resort town of Kissimmee is conveniently located near the city of Orlando, or the "Theme Park Capital of the World"! With its proximity to all the attractions central Florida has to offer and its separation from the crowds of Downtown Orlando, Kissimmee makes for a comfortable home base from which to explore all the area has to offer.. Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and a vast array of parks and attractions, are right at your fingertips in the town of Kissimmee!
