Anyone have any dealings with Innovative Timeshare Resorts or Innovative Resorts International
If they charge an upfront fee then they're a scam operation .... also I believe this company has a lawsuit pending against them by the attorney general ... they DON'T have an offer .... if you believe their spiel the buyer will have suddenly changed their mind or couldn't get financing ... put them on your 'do not call' registry.

Have you completed your search and dealings with Innovative Resorts Interntional? I got a call from Creative Vacation Solutions telling me that I was entitled to a refund because the sale of our timeshare could not be closed in a timely manner. They told me that the buyer was still interested in buying the unit but they decided to go with Innovative Resorts International. The new company called me a short time later and told me that Creative Vacation Solutions has an injunction agaist them and they are not allowed to do business so the new company is taking over their clients for them. I was given the choice of choosing my own lawyer in New York state to finalize the sale or I could have one of their inhouse lawers do it for me. Since I am leary about anything that has to do with timeshares I am doing my home work and would appreciate any info you can share.
Thanks!
Dennis

Looks to me like they've merely set up shop in another state since the Florida attorney general is after them in that state. I'm somewhat confused about your situation .... what exactly are you supposedly getting a refund for?

Supposedly, I gave Creative Vacation Solutions money to sell my timeshare units. I fell for the "pay first scam" in the past and learned the hard way how to deal with this kind of scam but I don't remember giving money to them. Anywway, I was told that the refund was for services never renderred. I was given an address for the new company, Innovative Resorts international, supposedly located in Jericho, New York, but when I checked with the Attorney General's Office of New York and the State Department of New York, no record could be found of any such company with that name being registerred to do business in New York State. This is definitely a big, red flag and I won't do business with them but it will be interesting if I really do get a refund.

The only thing I can come up with is this is caused by the injunction against them and they are forced to pay you (and others they scammed) via the Florida Attorney General .... I would check with the FL AG and see what they have to say about the injunction and tell them what you have written above ... that they are giving you the run-around concerning your "refund".

I found this website for Innovative Resorts International:
http://innovativeresorts.com/
On the wesbsite it states: Latest News Innovative Resorts International has completed headquarters expansion to the northeast of the United States. With a newly acquired office suite in New York, Innovative Resorts is poised to serve their customers face to face now more than ever.
A phone number of 1-877-855-RSRT is listed on the website.

My contract was with Premier Timeshare Solutions (SCAM) which yes i paid a up front fee(DUM) after months with them I recieved a call stating they gave my contract to Innovative Timeshare Resorts. about a week later I received a called from me saying they had a buyer and they wanted another $1,990. to finalize the deal. They even had my credit card number from Premier. Which when I mention this the guy to me it came from the Financing Company which supposed to be call NorthEast. I cancel my credit card notify the Attorney General. They told me they are located in New York.

I have had trouble with both Creative Time Shares and Innovative. I am now in a position where Innovative has charged me $1,999 when they said they would get my $999 from Creative Time shre. I am in the process of disputing this charge and wondered if there was anyone who had received their credit. Also, has anyone contacted their own state's Attorney General regarding this?
Thanks!

These companies have already been run out of the state of FL due to consumer complaints and they have lawsuits against them by the FL AG .... they moved their operation to NY, so you need to file a complaint with both the FL and NY AGs.

I've also been contacted by Innovative Timeshare Resorts, just wondering if anyone has had any Positive dealings with them? All I see is people "Assuming" that they are a scam and no one really saying that they paid to sell their timeshare and Innovative indeed took their money and then said the "sale" fell through?? All I see is people guessing that this is a scam, but no real evidence that anyone has actually been really scammed???

Her statement is clearly a whole lot more than just a "guess" or an "assumption". You can reach for a different interpretation, but it sure sounds like a straightforward report of personal experience to me.
I will also note that I have NEVER heard of "Innovative" before at ANY time in my nearly 30 years of timeshare ownership and experience and industry observation. If you are waiting for a documented, positive experience with "innovative" to be reported (...here or anywhere else) I strongly suggest NOT holding your breath while waiting...

Have you not read the testimonials here of people being scammed by this company ?????

Yes, I have dealings with Innovative Timeshare Resorts and they ARE a fraudulent company. They make many promises but they never close a sale. That is because no one is buying timeshares. (See eBay. 1600+ timeshares for sale starting at one cent and going all the way to one dollar). It took me a while but I am now savvy about selling timeshares. You can't do it. No one is buying.
The best you can do is attempt to locate an advocacy group who can help you get out from under the weight of the ownership so that you can stop the bleeding of the incessant and ever increasing fees.

Yes, there are some locations and resorts that still contain value but resale prices are at an all time low.
Ken owns in southwest Florida in winter which is a very high demand/low supply area for snowbirds so that area still has value as do other areas .... perhaps oceanfront units in summer or ski season weeks in winter but there are millions of timeshare weeks that can't even be given away .... check out Ebay.

Today I got a call from Innovative Resorts International. The sales person promised me, among other things, that $1999 will be refunded if property didn't sell after 120 days. I asked him to email me the same things that he was telling me over the phone. He said he could not email me all this but I can check the sample contract on thier website. I asked if this is written in the contract and the answer was yes. He gave me the website address [www.innovativeresortsinternational] where sample contract was available. There is no website with this address. I googled and finally found thier website (and this site among others). I looked at the contract and it stated that "....if it takes longer than 120 days, the marketing fee will be refunded in full upon closing." So this is how they hide actual facts. What if it never closes? Simply, it means no refund!
