Plan a timeshare vacation to southern California and get up close and personal to Iron Man.
Special ‘Limited Time Magic’ for “Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries” at Disneyland Park Iron Man’s Hall of Armor, which was recently displayed at Comic Con 2012 in San Diego, is making an appearance at Disneyland’s Innoventions. It opened this past weekend on April 13, 2013.
Based on the Iron Man 3 movie scheduled to be released in theaters May 3, 2013, the exhibit is named “Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries,” and is an astonishing likeness to the scenes in the upcoming movie. The exhibit consists of the Project Wine Cellar as depicted in the “Iron Man 3” prelude comic.
The suits include many from previous films including “The Avengers” A recreation of Tony Stark’s Hall of Armor features suits such as Mark I-VII and Iron Man’s latest suit – Mark 42.
Through virtual reality technology, you are able to experience the suits themselves and you’re even allowed to test the infamous Repulsor Blast. The advanced technology is designed to give guests a taste of what it is like to be Iron Man.
Actor Paul Bettany reprises his role as J.A.R.V.I.S. at the exhibit, welcoming visitors as they enter. The material used for this exhibit is all newly written dialogue.
As its name implies, the Disneyland Innoventions attraction brings the best of innovation and invention together to showcase the latest and greatest technologies available from Disney’s sponsors. Located in the park’s Carousel Theater, this exhibit (like the future) is always in motion.
While no end date has been announced, the Iron Man exhibit is expected to remain until September.
