The year 2013 is becoming the Year of Inspiration – New Year’s Resolutions that are fun to keep, and can actually inspire you to create greater joy in your life.
Whether taking a timeshare vacation every month is practical or not for you, these 12 months of New Year’s Resolutions for 2013 travel are sure to inspire, no matter when you go. We’ll take a look at this list offered by Huffington Post, in a 3-part series.
1. January – Catch Snowflakes on your Tongue. Wouldn’t it be fun to catch snowflakes from the chair lift in between runs while visiting Steamboat Springs, Colorado? Nearly 50 inches of snow had already blanketed the resort’s base by the end of December. The Rockies are getting snow, so bundle up and go play in it.
A timeshare rental at Steamboat Springs starts at just $114/night.
2. February – Fall in Love with a New Place. Maybe a little getaway is just the thing to break you and your honey out of that Valentine’s Day rut. Explore Sanibel Island, Florida, by boat tour, bicycle or carriage ride and find a fresh seafood place that overlooks the water. For a winter getaway the warm weather here is sublime.
Sanibel is known for its extra large quantities of seashells that cover the beaches. People who are lucky enough to find a shell of a junonia while shelling on Sanibel, often get their picture in the local newspapers. The junonia is very difficult to find and is greatly prized $100
Timeshare rentals on Sanbel Island start at just $100/night.
3. March – Play Ball! Take the kids to a spring training game. There’s something special about seeing your favorite team up close at a Cactus League spring training game in Phoenix where the park is small and the weather is darn-near perfect. Twelve of the Cactus League teams practice in the metro Phoenix area, and the other 3 work out in Tucson.
Thus, for any baseball fan looking to get a jump start on the season, the Cactus League offers a veritable smorgasbord of teams and games all within hand’s reach. The world champion San Francisco Giants will prepare for the 2013 season under the sunny Arizona skies at Scottsdale Stadium.
Rent a timeshare at the Scottsdale Camelback Resort for just $100/night.
4. April – Go, and Smell the Flowers. Spring explodes in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park – so put on your hiking boots and go out to welcome it! Known this time of year as the “Wildflower National Park,” this is the most-visited National Park in the U.S.
Most roads are open after the winter closures and the weather is warming up the lower elevations in April, making it the perfect time to glory in the remarkable beauty of springtime.
Gatlinburg is the Gateway to the Park, where you can stay in a timeshare rental for just $81/night.
