Do activation fees ever increase annually, like traditional maintenance
fees? My sales rep said I only pay “operational costs” of $78/night for a
weeks stay and an “HOA fee” of $275 every 5th year. Does any of this make
sense? The wife is having buyers remorse, as most do in high pressure
timeshare sales.

It’s like the usual timeshare maintenance fee. Some contracts have it
optional. In that case the fee must be paid every 5 years, if a week
hasn’t been used by then then. So in effect, its the cost of a week.
