Shared Wyndham / Worldmark resorts - how to list?

Jan 09, 2025

I have a Super Bowl reservation for Worldmark Avenue Plaza booked, and would like to rent it out, but it is not showing up in the list of resorts. Other shared properties - like, for instance, Steamboat Springs - do show both.

When I try to do a wider search and select the category of 'Worldmark by Wyndham' the search feature only spits out 21 resorts, some of which are duplicates that link to te others (specifically, Worldmark Ocean Walk is the 19th property returned by the search, and it has a link inviting me to 'see' Club Wyndham & WorldMark Ocean Walk, which is the first link returned) and it leaves out many, many WorldMark resorts that ARE definitely active on the site. Even more strangely, the search results include some 'Wyndham only' properties, like Nashville.

My immediate question is, how do I go about listing a WorldMark Avenue Plaza stay? But I'd still like to better understand how this site works - I can't make heads or tails of it right now. Many thanks!!

Just as an update, a representative replied to my request (and multiple followups) insisting that I use the Club Wyndham Avenue Plaza page to list my Worldmark Avenue Plaza booking. It remains to be seen if they'll 'verify' it or not - the whole situation sure doesn't give me any confidence in their verification process.

One big problem with this idiotic way they run it - the rental agreement is all about Club Wyndham. For this particular property, the only real difference (aside from the wrong name right at the top of the agreement!) appears to be the inaccurate valet parking price they put in the contract, so worst case I lose a hundred bucks covering the difference if my renter doesn't read the description and raises a fuss. Thankfully, at this property, all the units are identical between the two clubs other than the spice packets - it's not like some other shared properties where the bed types and other important features can be different. Regardless, it's ridiculous that a site DEVOTED to timeshares doesn't just create a separate listing!

I'm stuck for this event, but no way will I continue to use a site that doesn't see a problem with using a rental agreement with a bunch of inaccurate bits and pieces just because they don't feel like duplicating and editing a listing page. I guess that's why they're cheaper - you get what you pay for.
