HGV Buys Bluegreen - the whole thing

Yup, HGV has agreed to purchase Bluegreen Vacations, the whole enchellada, transaction to close some time in 1H2024.

Given the uncertainty of how exactly the two systems will be blended, I would offer that anyone considering a new purchase of a Bluegreen VOI defer that purchase until the details of the new arrangement are available.

Bluegreen has about 200k VOI owners; HGV has about 500k. BG has about 50 resorts; HGV has about 150.

This will be interesting to watch....

Very interesting...as HGV is still working on integration of their purchase of Diamond Resorts. We have stayed at two of these resorts recently. Let me just say HGV has a lot of work to do!!

Yes, we are eagerly awaiting the new integrations. We own The Club with HGV Max, but I see we already have access to some BG resorts through Destination Xchange (DEX).
