Marriott / Weston throws their timeshare owners under the bus.

Marriott sold timeshares as part of a comprehensive development with golf course, hotel, restaurants, bars, etc. last year Marriott sold its interest in the hotel operation, retained management but failed to protect its timeshare buyers. Access to the hotel, restaurants, bars, etc are gated off and no signing privileges are permitted.

This is a perfect example of why timeshare buyers need to think twice about investing in a scheme that can change in an instant with no recourse.
