Nicely Renovated!

I noticed that all of the discussions on this forum were soon after Katrina devastated New Orleans. The hotel has now been fully renovated. A balcony has been added to the second floor which is accessible to all guests. Great place to people watch on Canal Street. Many other renovations are now complete; new beds, updated bathrooms, furniture, etc.

We have stayed there many times and find the location unbeatable! The Waldorf-Astoria Roosevelt hotel is next door and the Ritz Carlton is across Canal Street. Close proximity to the French Quarter and just a short few blocks to the casino and Jackson Square. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The historic Roosevelt bar is off the lobby. This location has great historic appeal and feels like "The Big Easy".
