Any financial incentives to downgrade from ocean front to ocean side?

Hi We have a ocean front 2bdr villa surf club and wanted to see if there are any financial incentives to downgrade to Oceanside.

No. You could rent out your ocean front and then rent an ocean side for less or book with DC points but with the skim not sure if you would be ahead using points for ocean side.

Thank you for your reply. Can we just ask marriot to swap it for us with ocean side? Would they do that? Any ways to reach out to owners of the ocean sides for the same week as ours and ask if anyone is interested? Or another forum?

On the Timeshare Users Group site (http://www.tug2.net) there is a Marriott-specific discussion forum. You might consider registering for that site (there is no cost to do so) and post your inquiry there, where MANY Marriott owners will promptly see your post. Just a suggestion.
