Sale of banked Marriott Points

Can I sell my banked 6500 Marriott points on redweek or is it better to book a stay somewhere and sell that week? I want to get as much as I can for them.

If you book a stay with your points, you can't sell it because it's only a one-week stay. You can try to rent that week out.

If you want to sell your points, then list them on a reputable site such as RedWeek. Just make sure that you are aware of the realistic resale value of such points. And never, ever pay anyone a large, upfront fee to sell, rent out, or market your points.
