SMA Timeshares and Regency Consulting Group Inc - Has anyone ever heard of dealt with them.

Aug 19, 2014

I've been approached by Regency Consulting Group to purchase my timeshare at the Divi in Aruba but asking for $1950 upfront before the closing of the sale. Also, received a call from SMA Timeshares about purchasing my "bonus" points I have at Divi in Aruba. Looked up both companies on BBB and RCG is not accredited and SMA has an "F" rating.

Anyone dealt with them?

It's a SCAM. All they want is your upfront money. Then they will come up with excuses and demand more money until they get all they can from you and then disappear with your money.

Absolute scam! Never, ever pay anyone a large, upfront fee to sell, rent out, market, or "cancel" your timeshare.

If this were a legitimate sale, the $1950 would come out of the proceeds of the sale and not paid upfront.
