Caribbean Exchange VS All Inclusive Deal

May 29, 2014

Thinking of going to the Caribbean for a week. I could exchange but it seems the resorts with All Inclusive fees are crazy expensive and I heard food to buy in general is expensive there. I am constantly getting emails for All Inclusive deals that are half what an exchange would cost with their fees. Would like to hear from those that have traveled to the Caribbean and their thoughts.

There are a number of resorts in the Caribbean that are not all-inclusive (AI). I would look at exchanging into one of those. Since most units in timeshare resorts have their own kitchen, you can prepare your own food for much less than the AI fees.

As for the deals that keep getting e-mailed to you, they can be a bargain, especially if you buy a package deal that includes flights and transfers.

have you tried the azul resorts or the el dorados by karisma? the ai fees are not cheap, but us members get them cheaper and the food is amazing..plus you get 24/7 free room service and top shelf alcohol, cnadlelit donner for2 on the beach, butler service, transfers, tips and so much more. if you add all of those things up..it really isnt that expensive. and who wants to cook on vacation. these are 5 star upscale resorts...treat yourself like royalty for a week :)
