Depending on the supply and demand of your resort and time owned will be utmost in finding a renter .... for instance if you have an ocean/gulf front timeshare in summer or spring break then you'll have a better chance of renting.
However, if you own a nondescript timeshare at a not so popular resort/location/time owned you may have trouble finding a renter at all. Depending on the criteria above I would keep dropping my price until you (might) garner some interest.
At Redweek, you are the author of your own ad .... you can change it anytime you wish.

I do not own a timeshare, but do check to see if there are any for rent from time to time in specific areas. One of the reasons you may not be getting any interest is that folks really dont know about redweek.com being a place to go to check for rentals. I must admit with the other online sites out there, redweek.com isn't the first place I go to find a rental.

I check homeaway.com and craigslist.com for the area where I'm traveling. Have had good luck w/ homeaway.com for a poconos rental that was very nice. Had a New Orleans and a Boston rental from craigslist.com that was so-so. I'll need to remember to check redweek.com now!
