Bill, I'm not sure what you are referring to. Do you mean the RedWish pages where people added what they were looking for or the forum topic that was titled "Red Wishes" which was started in May of 2012. The RedWishes pages were taken down in April, I believe. The forum postings under the topic "Red Wishes" is still available. This is the direct link if you want to copy and paste it: http://www.redweek.com/forums/messages?thread_id=18468&message_id=55830&query=redwishes#fm55830
Thanks, Marty

Marty, You say the 'RedWishes pages were taken down in April'. I just renewed my account and went to check the RedWishe pages. Unfortunately, no such page anymore. After reviewing the forums, I found this response from you: "We are not accepting new RedWish postings at this time. The service is being redesigned and will be relaunched in the coming months." So what's with this ? Are you relaunching this service or are you discontinuing this permanently. Please advise . Thanks, Phyllis

I agree with Marty. Redweek.com needs to put RedWishes back up. I used Redwishes primarily to trade. It was a terrific way for owners to trade with other owners for a new location. Also with no additional fees involved. I've traded 3 times for three wonderful places and worked directly with the owners. One was my wish I posted and I fulfilled two wishes. It worked perfectly.

Now, that's a good idea AND to have someone moderate Red Wishes on a daily basis to catch what may be an abuse such as an ad to sell or rent that should be in the ad section only.

Thank you all for your feedback regarding the RedWish pages. As Maurice stated in the other Forums thread on this topic, abuse was the primary reason we chose to discontinue the RedWish pages. The staff hours spent policing the pages became too cost prohibitive given the declining number of RedWish postings purchased year over year.
While we do plan on launching a new service to replace RedWishes, it will be of a completely different format.
If you purchased a RedWeek membership solely for access to the RedWish pages, please let us know within 30 days of your purchase and we would be happy to issue a refund.
