What actually qualifies as a valid contract cancellation letter from the resort? I have a simple letter on resort letterhead that references the contract #, my name, amount of money originally paid, and amount to be refunded. It says " This serves as notice of cancelation of contract #xxxxx." It is signed and dated by a resort representative and myself.
It seems sufficient to me, or do I need more?
Thanks for any replies

That's more than sufficient .... just remember to rescind during the rescission period clause in your contract and send the letter by USPS, certified mail with return receipt. The date stamped on the letter is the date the resort will go by ..... not when they receive it.
