Cancellation policy

Aug 25, 2012

I am looking to fly from ny to florida next spring. Timeshare is about 2000. Is there any trip cancellation insurance? If we cancel last minute due to health problems etc....we're out $2000. Hesitant to do that.

If you are using a Timeshare you own, check with the company selling the timeshares. For example, Marriott has a great policy availabe thru CSA that covers the maintenance fees on the timeshares, air travel, etc. I suspect other providers have similar policies available. I just settled a claim under Marriott's CSA policy, the settlement was easy and the coverage was exceptional.
