Time Share
I just want to start out by saying nobody held us down and made us sign up for the Timeshare in Las Vegas, NV in 2008, we purchased it thinking it would be a way as we got closer to retirement, to be able to afford those beautiful resorts. The sales people are VERY smooth and they really do wear you down but again we did it on our own. That being said, times have changed for us, and making $354.00 monthly payments plus annual maintenance fees has become impossible. We owe $28,000.00.
My husband lost his teaching job in Oregon in 2009 and nothing available there, so we moved to Northern California where he was offered a job.
We have told Hilton over and over we cannot do this and could they help us out with lowering the payment, etc. and they will not budge. We have made every payment so far but we need to stop, it is coming out of our (so to be gone) savings.
I guess I could go on and on but my question is, "If we stop making our payments, what can Hilton do to us? "
Thanks, Pat
