Elimination Company

Jul 29, 2011

I have been scammed three times by resale companies promising big payouts. I recently gave money to a company called American Resort Resolutions (866-444-4330). They did not promise to sell my property but they said they could get me out of my mortgage and maybe some of what I put down. I was very skeptical. I just got a release letter from Wyndham saying that they were letting me out of my $80,000 mortgage and refunding my down payment. This is a good company.

I don't believe a single word of this absurd claim / advertisement.

1. Who on earth could / would ever possibly acquire (or who would ever grant) a $80,000 loan on a timeshare???

2. What timeshare on Planet Earth would ever sell for $80k in the first place? Most developer direct sales at Wyndham are between $15k -- $20k price range (and grossly overpriced even at that amount).

3. Wyndham financing is by a third party, as far as I know. Accordingly, Wyndham would not have the legal standing or authority to "release" ANYONE from a mortgage which Wyndham didn't themselves issue in the first place.

There are some truly clueless readers in these forums, but this tall tale / ad insults the intelligence of even the dumbest among them...

SHILL ALERT .... there's no way any entity can get you out of a mortgage .... also there's no timeshare that costs $80.000? Your claim is ridiculous.
