Transfer fee in Hilton Head Island

We have been alerted to the fact that ALL timeshare resorts on HHI impose very high transfer fees upon the new purchasers of time shares when the sales or transfers are through the secondary market.

We would love to have any available data in this connection .

I just spoke with Island Links office and they informed me the transfer fee for resales is $1,500.

Last message on this was 2 yrs ago. Anyone know the transfer fee today?

I just spoke with Coral Resorts. Their transfer fee is $1500 but $1000 of that goes toward the next maintenance fee. So, the 'net' transfer fee is $500.
