Using sellmytimesharenow.com to rent my timeshare
I posted a timeshare rental on Redweek.com and received a message from sellmytimesharenow.com they were intereseted. I received a call from sellmytimesharenow.com and was told they had an interesed renter and it would not cost me anything. They claim once I signed the contract they would send the check immediaetly. Sounds too good to be true!! Has anyone used them?

Sell My Timeshare Now has been discussed at great length in these RedWeek forums in the past, so I won't reinvent that wheel. You can use the "search forums" link (above right on this page) to easily find and then read any or all of that input for yourself.
You haven't identified at all what the "contract" actually states (maybe you haven't even received it yet). The contents of that contract is ALL that matters, regardless of what you were "told", orally or by email.
I strongly recommend that you read, absorb and fully understand the actual contract content. Make absolutely SURE that the contract reflects in writing EXACTLY what you were "told" previously by phone or email (I'm betting it won't). Remember that ONLY the contract content matters --- NOTHING ELSE!
Also, make certain that the contract FIRST bears the ORIGINAL signature (and a legible name) of an authorized company representative, otherwise the contract, if not already signed by someone in authority at the company, is basically meaningless and worthless (...regardless of its' content).
Be smart and be careful. Only YOU can decide whether or not to wait and see if your week will rent out to some other honest individual via your RedWeek ad --- WITHOUT your having to deal with these SMTN mopes in any way. It's your call...
P.S. Your inquiry would have been more appropriately placed in the "Buying, Renting & Selling Timeshares" forum.
