H10 Hotels "new" resort in Playa del Carmen

I bought into H10 over 3 years ago & at that time was told they were building a resort in Playa del Carmen. I have no complaints with my time share but every time I ask when the new resort is opening, all I get is a run a round. Anybody know anything? Thanks.

There looks to be several hotels under H10 Hotel Resorts in Playa Del Carmen .... what is the name of the one they're supposedly building?

I don't know how much money you paid (if paid in full) or how much of a down payment you made or how much your payments are each month (if you financed), but this seems awfully fishy after 3 entire years and the hotel hasn't been finished yet, especially in this worldwide economic downturn and all the bad publicity concerning Mexico (H1N1, gangs, crime, drug wars, etc.).

I think I would be getting in touch with PROFECO (the Consumer Advocacy Agency in Mexico), explain your situation and try to get them to get your money back. You can do a forum search here or a google or a bing search to find contact info for PROFECO.

PROFECO has helped many people with complaints concerning resorts they bought from in Mexico.

Thanks for the info regarding H10's new resort in Playa del Carmen. I check further with the info supplied, however, I really am happy with my time share. Just trying to find out if there really is a new H10 resort being built in Playa. I would keep my time share even if there isn't because I love Ocean Coral & Turquesa but I would be raising a little fuss over the sales pitch for Playa.

Oh, so you already own with H10 Hotels but you're waiting for a new one to be built ?????
