Bonus Weeks

My wife and I are Grandview owners. When we purchased we were given 4 bonus weeks to use through RCI. Can we sell those bonus weeks to friends to use at the Grandview or other resorts through redweek.com?

Based on my research, no, you cannot sell them. My wife and I also got two when we purchased ours, we are planning on selling our deeded week and then using the bonus weeks for our own vacation.

I have "gifted" Grandview extra weeks to a friend before.

When we made the reservation on the RCI web site, he actually used his credit card to close the reservation.

The problem is that you aren't giving them a week to use whenever they want to, you actually need to book a specific reservation...

I just looked again at the updated RCI web site, and they removed the ability to make bonus week reservations on line, so that may change the picture a little bit, I don't know...
