huge Marriott timeshare problem help
I have an interesting problem. I booked my timeshare in Marriott Maui Ocean Club for March...my full two bedroom oceanfront villa and when I found that my kids couldn't come, I called up Marriott and asked to have the lockout unit only deposited in Interval. Once I arrive here in Hawaii a couple of days before my checkin, I found out they have deposited my whole two bedroom unit into Interval and never sent me a cancellation notice. So I am thinking I am checking into the one bedroom part of my villa. They never charged me for the deposit. They said they sent me a cancellation notice, but I have all message go to two emails and no notice of them canceling my reservation ever came to my email. So here I sit in Hawaii with no timeshare to check into on Sunday. They say they have one in the older building, but this is not what I spent my hard earned money on and looked forward to all year. Any suggestions or advice?

Oh my, looks like either someone at Marriott or someone at II screwed up bigtime .... I would call both asap and ask to speak to a supervisor .... they should have the cancellation only notice on record to forward to you in Hawaii.

Well here is the happy news we are here and in a unit, not the one we bought, but at least we have a place to stay...the General Manager and guest Relations Manager at the Maui Ocean Club moved heaven and earth and got us in a unit. I called many times to the owner services department and they were not pleasant, but the people here at the resort made it work and were so kind
