Redweek fees increase $5 for each timesahre rental for 6 month period

Feb 01, 2010

Whe did this happen??? I remember when membership was $10 as a one time fee and rental fees were $9.99. Now unless you are a memmber, you can't even see our renatls, costs to rent are skyrocketing and fewer rentals are coming from the listings. Redweek, we made you what you are and now you are pushing us out. I am not sure I will be renewing my membership.

Although I have always been a fan of Redweek and I post info daily in the forums, I don't think it's the time (in this economy) to be raising rates.

On the other hand, if fewer rentals are coming from the listings then that's not Redweek's fault .... they are merely a timeshare ad site .... you post the information .... depending on the supply and demand of your resort, the week owned and how much you are charging is the key to any sell or rental. My advice is if you are not getting any inquiries then keep dropping the price.
