Very positive reviews and comments on GEVC here: http://www.globalexchangevacation.com/testimonials.html, along with reviews on one of their resorts: http://www.redweek.com/resort/P5597-gevc-at-lighthouse-pointe

The first URL cited above is GEVC's OWN site. Would you expect to see anything but "positive reviews and comments" there? What company would ever "bad mouth" itself? On the other hand, hundreds of more independent reports from very unhappy GEVC members can be found on any timeshare site on the Internet (including here on RedWeek). I suggest taking these types of "self -promotions" with a grain of salt...

I just purchased into GEVC in September. Paid the down payment and 1 mo. payment. Next payment is due today. Since so much bad publicity I am considering not paying anymore money. Payments are $105.00 a mo. for 5 years. Can't hurt my credit. Already filed Bankruptcy. Can't really afford to make anymore payments. What do you think. ???

Since you've already filed bankruptcy and quitting payments will not hurt your credit anymore than it's already been hurt then I think you're doing the right thing .... in this economy travel is a luxury, not a necessity.
