Alternative to Edgewater

We traded our Edgewater property 4th of July week for a Breakers Property 2 years ago. We are very happy with the change. The Edgewater has/had a lot of potential, but there are problems. Read the comments section under Edgewater and you will see hot tubs issues, small rooms, staff and crowded facilities. The same organization built the Breakers Beach Resort and they learned their leasons. It is not on the beach (it is across the road), but access to the same beaches is simple. The rooms are nice, updated and it is quiet. Mosts have lofts with bedrooms upstais via spiral staircase. Dennis Port is a great central location. You can reach all points on Cape Cod easily and you are not too far from anything. If you have a chance to rent or own- go with the Breakers. Take a walk down to the Edgewater and look around, you will understand then that you made the right choice.
