We own a Marriott week in Maui and were considering adding another Marriott week to our portfolio from a resale company or owner as opposed to buying from Marriott. However, we have heard that you cannot trade then within Marriott. Also hear that you have lower priority within II. Anyone know the pros and cons of buying a resale from the owner as opposed to the developer?
