How does the process of renting a timeshare work?

I have a timeshare but have never rented one. I am interested in renting an additional week where my timeshare is. What exactly is the process? Who makes the reservation? How do I know it has been done? How do I know it's legitimate? ETC. I can't seem to find this anywhere on the website. Thanks, Ron

The process of renting from an owner on RedWeek.com can be found at http://www.redweek.com/resources/rental_process/buyer. The transaction is between you and the owner. We highly recommend that you use a vacation escrow company to secure the transaction to protect both you and the owner.
