LOOKS LIKE REDWEEK FORUM MEMBERS HELPED TO SHUT DOWN A TIMESHARE SCAM COMPANY

It seems Redweek's forum members have caused a timeshare scam company to shut their doors (IBD Marketing). This is what activism will do if people keep at it hard enough and this is one of the MAIN reasons that I remain an active member of this forum .... to discuss such scam companies as IBD Marketing, ALL upfront fee resale scam companies and any other scams related to timesharing.

WE ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE.

This scam is still active and ongoing. The solicitor is using a "title company" in Ft Lauderdale FL as a front. We were approached by a woman right before Xmas and she wanted an upfront fee to represent her customer (or potential buyer)...she made a big mistake however, by calling from a phone listed to a John MacPherson (#561 856-3998). We did not bite, however, she was very insistent! So if this name or number pops up on your caller ID, beware!

Thanks. That is the same I get from Timeshare by Owner and GMAC Timeshare. Can't do fees but want to charge for closing close in advance. I tell them to take it out of my sell price and they hang up. A couple of others are the same way in Florida, so one fee to another without seeing an actual contract with a buyers name.

These scammers have no buyer .... all they want is that upfront fee then you're history to them.

I'm looking for DRI owners to get and share common concerns, but especially join in on any current class-action. Also, I can't figure out keep getting blocked], what site and how do we DRI owners email *directly to our reps. I thought the DRI HOA [Board reps, etc] suppose to represent us/owners? Pls send contact info...THANKS
