trading power to hawaii

has anyone tried trading a gold week at shadow ridge for a marriott in maui -- assuming you reserve your week at shadow ridge at the most optimum time in the gold season and then immediately try to get into maui?

We also traded to hawaii more then once, you do have to wait but it does work. Problem was that we loved Maui Ocean Club so much we bought another week there in the new Lahaina Towers. Now we try to trade our shadow ridge to get two weeks in Hawaii. We've been to all of the Marriott Hawaii properties and they're all very nice, but we like Maui the best!

We traded as well and got Maui. It helped to trade our entire 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit for the Maui 1 bedroom 2 bath unit. It still has a living room, but only a bar size sink, fridge and microwave.

We traded our 2 bedroom Shadow Ridge for a 1 bedroom at Maui. We got it but we also put the request in 11 months ahead of time. And, we went at a slow time of year (January). Good Luck!
