5 star or not

Can anyone tell me how this fairs with Marriott properties? I have exchanged my week and am now regretting it after some of the reviews I have read. It sounds very run down and I am a "cleanliness snob". I offer any and all feedback!!

Yes, this is a 5 start resort. Their facilities are top notch. A lovely inside pool and recreation facility, with a spa and hot tub, climbing wall, etc. There is also two out side pools. One rather larger and a smaller pool in the back of the lodge. (Their original pool, but it is very quiet and secluded) The restaurant and bar is very good and quaint.They have a piano player an jazz on many evenings. The views from the lodge and guest house and villa's are all spectacular. They just opened a beer garden this Fall that I have not seen there. The also have a tea room for breakfast and lunch only.
