Fixed versus floating week

If you buy a floating week at the Westin Kaanapali, would you be able to get your desired week provided you booked 12 months out or booked early? My family can usually only travel during high season times i.e. school vacation times. I would hate to purchase a floating week and not be able to book during the summer months or Christmas break. I really do not wish to purchase a fixed week because I can't guarantee that I could travel that specific week all the time.

I always purchase float weeks and never have had a problem booking my desired week. You do have to book early for holiday and summer time. Mary
