Transfermytimeshare.com
robertp237 [Yes I'm using them right now. They are a part of sellmytimeshare.com. They update by e-mail each step of the way during the sale and transfer, escrow process. They seem to do good and fast work, I would use them again.[/Q]
Stan118 I'm using them right now as well, but it seems to be taking awhile (over a month so far), and I sent an email asking for an update and received a strange reply that left me feeling a little uneasy.

This is the e-mail update. It allways takes 2 months or better for the whole process for any company.

The company they are affiliated with is SellMyTimeshareNOW.com, not SellMyTimeshare.com

I am hereby betting that this is a shill posting / claim, since in 20+ years of timeshare ownership, I have NEVER heard a single confirmation of ANY upfront fee resale company EVER actually selling a timeshare. Would you care to identify the resort, unit, and week in this alleged "sale" for later verification --- easily accomplished through review of county (public) records?
Take the challenge. Prove me wrong and I'll humbly and voluntarily stand to be corrected. Until then, I'm openly calling you a shill, posting a phony claim for an unspecified (and, I submit, non-existent) sale.

Stan: I firmly maintain my claim that there has NEVER been a confirmed instance of an "upfront fee resale company" EVER actually selling a timeshare. However, I must admit to an error of oversight here, since Transfermytimeshare.com is actually a little known closing company --- NOT an upfront fee resale company. I erroneously confused their name with the similar names of some of the many upfront fee "resale" parasites out there with similar names like "Sellmy timesharenow.com", etc. My apologies for this inattention to detail on my part.
That said, the good advice repeated here and on every timeshare forum in existence remains the same -- NEVER pay ANY upfront fee resale company ANYTHING to sell your timeshare. NEVER. They will NEVER sell it. They will simply take your money and then call it a day with an overpriced ad on an obscure web site.....

Thanks for the advice. I will remember that should I ever choose to sell my timeshare.
I was more focused on whether transfermytimeshare.com was a reputable escrow company - which I found them to be. I actually purchased my timeshare here through RedWeek.

I've used a number of different closing companies over the years as both buyer and seller, and I have known about numerous other ones which I've never used personally, but I had never before even heard of transfermytimeshare.com. I'm glad that it worked out for you.

I am finding this company to be very unresponsive, have left multiple phone messages with no response. I have paid them their fees as requested. We have sent them the agreed to amount to go to the seller, which is supposed to be sitting in escrow. We have not heard from anyone in over two months. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

There is something funny going on with this company. They no longer answer their phone or reply to emails. We are in the middle of a timeshare sale with them. They have both the buyers money and their fees. It's been 2 months and it's not looking good.

we listed with u.s.vacation.org over a year ago, and nothing has taken place on their part except to put it in an ad. they don't even let you know anything, and when you call them you almost feel like you are interfering on their time. yes, we paid up front $1268.00 cashier check. how stupid is that, i am going to have our lawyer get into this mess. and soon. like one said earlier do not pay up front. oh, by the way that thought that our place would sell in about 6-9 weeks.HA
