Sunterra Owners Vacation Protection Increase

Are you aware that Sunterra Vacation Protection Plan has increased from $35 to $105? I was not aware of this until I booked a week vacation on-line and saw it. I do not recall receiving a notice of the increase. I know that the price of everything is going up, but from $35 to $105 is a large increase. Furthermore and unlike RCI and CSA, you do not get this amount credited toward another vacation if your vacation plan is cancelled. I wrote to Sunterra concerning this, but I have not heard anything from them yet. I also had the hardest time getting in contact with the CEO/Owner. Sunterra resentatives refused to give me the new CEO/Owner's name. I was told by two different people. "I'm sorry, I cannot reveal that information to you". I did find it on an earlier e-mail sent to me. So, what's the secret? In this memo, the CEO stated he was there to help. Well, my first experience does not seem so helpful at all. Thanks to that e-mail. Has anyone else experience such and are you aware that the Vacation Protect Plan has increased?
