Resort comparison
I can't give you a true comparison since I have never rented at Costa Linda. I can tell you, however, that we love Casa Del Mar. We have stayed there several times and recently bought a unit. My parents have owned theirs for about 20 years and have never had any complaints. The presidential are very nice. They are quite large and are clean and comfortable. I hope this helps!

I have stayed at the Divi Divi & Play Linda. All were nice but I bought at Casa Del Mar mainly because of the beach there. Aruba has beach errosion issues and the niceset of the beach fronts that suffers the least erosion is at Casa Del Mar. Aruba is beautiful, maybe more built up since my last visit, but there is only one section of the island that has all the resorts and Casa Del Mar is centrally located for the restaurants, clubs & casinos. No matter where you stay in Aruba the weather is always perfect and despite the recent media coverage over the missing girl, the majority of people in Aruba are friendly. They survive because of tourism they would be fools to be anything but nice.

I have stayed at both locations. All the units at Costa Linda are 2 BR. Casa del Mar has both 1 BR (across the street from the beach), and 2 BR - on the beach. Both locations are nice. I think the beach is slightly nicer at Costa Linda, but not $600 nicer! I think the person replying above is confusing Playa Linda with Costa Linda. CDM and Costa Linda are very close to each other, in the low-rise area.
