ins & outs
Don't own a timeshare yet. Is there a fee at check in? What if I purchase an annual usage can I later decide i want sell the even or odd year usage, & deed it over to someone else and keep the other half? If I buy in the OZARKS is that a good place for exchanging? Should I buy a timeshare at all or just rent from redweek site?

There is normally no fee at check-in (a few resorts charge a surcharge for utilities, especially in some Caribbean locations).
If you buy an annual year usage timeshare, you cannot split it up into even/odd year usage nor can you sell it that way.
I wouldn't think that a timeshare in the Ozarks would be a tiger trader since that area is not an overall popular destination.
Until you learn more about timesharing then I would rent before purchasing any timeshare. Once you buy a week of timeshare you are then responsible for maintenance fees and possible special assessments forever and that responsibility is passed on to your heirs even after death.
Please read my thread "Buying timeshares .... even resale" in the buying, selling and renting forum for more information.
