What is the best time to visit Cancun for families ?

Want to avoid College students on Spring break . Is there any good time at all in spring for families with kids to visit and avoid all the student crowd ? If yes which weeks are good in April and March ?

I would suggest going later in April. March is HUGE for spring breakers:)

Hi Shweta,

Depending on where you stay, Cancun can be fun anytime in March or April. We are at the Moon Palace and there is a mix of people/families. We have membership here and it works great. I have a 12, 14 and 16 year old. Little ones would be happy too.

Any time of the year is great. The spring breakers pretty much stay in their own area. The better hotels dont want them and they dont go to any decent restaurant. They dont spend money around town. They live on beer and potato chips from the super market. In fact, Cancun is trying very hard to get away from the spring breakers period. They mostly stay in inexpensive place and try to cram a lot of people into a room. Not all but most are very boring ... getting drunk, getting into trouble, being loud, etc.
