To eat you don't want to miss the Oistins Fish Fry. There are outdoor vendors selling fish which was fresh caught during the day at this historic fisherman's village. Fish is grilled before your eyes and is very affordable.

To do: 1.) Go to Welshman Hall Gully for a nice one mile walk in this natural valley in the middle of the island. the rock formations and fauna are great and you may even see a green monkey or two. 2.) Go for a tram ride in the (Harrison ?)Caves which feature all sorts of beautiful stalagmites and stalagmites. 3.) Take a picnic basket up to the North end of the island and have lunch and snacks at Farley Hall park to enjoy the lovely view of the island from this high vantage point. The view is totally awesome from here as you can literally see for miles. Also, while up north, go to River Bay, a natural area where you can walk up to a precipice with a view from a cliff over the Atlantic ocean from about 50 feet above. The Precipice is flat stone rocks which lend themselves to sitting and relaxing with lunch, snacks or beverages. Just clean up after yourself as this is a natual and precious area. Also, there is an inlet here where the ocean comes into a river type bay just at the foot of the precipice. You can safely wade in the water here. It is very safe and beautiful. 4. Party at any of 20 or so nightspots in the St. Lawrence Gap. 5.) Watch the surfers and parasailers on the Atlantic coast of the island, especially at the Bathsheba area. 6.) Drive up to the west side of the island and see how the wealthy spend their vacations in Barbados. Go to the Sandy Lane Hotel, site of Tiger Woods wedding and reception for example.

Snorkle with turtles, day trips organised from Bridge town. A great day out even if you don't snorkle! Go for brunch on Sunday morning at the Crane hotel and listen to gospel singers- very up lifting and then head to beautiful beach below(be sure to book).
