Manhattan Club Lawsuit
It is important to note all of the Eichner's and the Manhattan Club’s legal fees are being paid for by Manhattan Club Owners. A lawyer, who was at the hearing on Friday, March 11, 2016 remarked “that the legal fees for that one hearing alone were about 1 million dollars.” That is one million dollars of TMC owner’s money. With the bad debts increasing because of owner’s not paying their maintenance fees, it is worth noting that the Eichners are still getting their 6.5 million dollar manage the managers fee from Urban Management yearly. The firm that had no employees. The Manhattan Club has let go 100 employees but the Eichners still get their 6.5 million dollar fee. One year of the Eichner’s off the top fee would eliminate all of TMC’s bad debts. Since the NY Attorney General’s investigation, Urban Management now has some employees brought in from other Eichner companies. When the Attorney General completes his investigation the Eichner’s and TMC should be required to reimburse TMC owners for payment of their legal fees. This should also be the case in any class action suit that is filed. We are paying the Eichners to fight us. The Eichners and Scott Lager are refusing to give testimony and depositions to the NY AG’s because they are concerned about future criminal prosecution.

I wonder just how many editions of the "offering statements" will be delivered to the judge? I think the judge should be made aware that the offering statement has been revised many times over the years. The parties may be in compliance with the latest version but not in compliance with the document upon which we early buyers depend. How can we inform the judge of this fact?

Excellent point. The judge should be given the earlier revisions of the offering plan as well. Judge Rakower in the court room was given a copy of the 89th offering plan. TMC has made an effort to clean up the most obvious aspects of its scam. They may be in compliance with this latest version. This is where we as TMC owners have to be proactive in our own behalf and write letters to the judge and the NY AG pointing out this discrepancy.

Eichner's lawyers conveniently had a copy of the offering with them to present to the judge. Neither Bruce Eichner or Scott Lager were present for the hearing .It's a great country America when you can just send some one to represent you because you're too busy to deal with such petty nuisances. I believe the 100 people laid off were most likely with the sales dept. Maybe they got jobs at Urban Management.

I previously received a survey from the NY AG which included a question about whether I copies of the offering statement and other paperwork from my purchase. I responded and indicated I did have all the paperwork. I have not been contacted since.
Did anyone else receive the survey? Has anyone been asked to provide copies of the offering statement and/or additional paperwork?
Should we just send copies to the AG and/or the judge?

Just received the latest MC newsletter. It states you can go to www.tmcny.com to go to "Owners’ Blog From the homepage of the Owners Website, you are able to access our Owners’ Blog. This blog will be updated weekly and will keep you connected to exclusive Owner Specials, New York City Events, and giveaways." Well, the link to the "Owners' Blog" doesn't work! SURPRISE. Guess TMC does not want us to know what actual owners have to say about TMC. SURPRISE!
