Has anyone purchased from Vallart Gardens?
Never heard of that program - what is it supposed to offer you? They only have one 2 bedroom unit for use as far as I know. They are currently breaking up the larger villas into 2 and 3 bedroom units, so there should be more availability soon - but with over 500 members (so they claim) I'm guessing it will be tough to use a week. Not that it helps if you are only in the market for a studio or 1 bedroom - which is what I purchased and has yet to be built.

Never heard of Explore Your World. They do now have 4 Reefs open, two 2 bedrooms downstairs and two 2 bedroom Penthouse upstairs. The 5 bedroom by the beach was being converted to a 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom while we were there and it was almost finished. They also are in the process of buying most of the private homes, upgrading them and going to use them. I realize this doesn't help those that bought studios or l bedrooms at this time. Of interest, here is an article from VALLARTA TODAY that may be of interest. http://www.vallartatoday.com/la-cruz-de-huanacaxtle-takes-a-big-step-within-the-premium-market 17 Apr 2014 article if you can't open the link here. Just google.

Yes, interesting article. It's real nice that they are spending my money, along with all the others that bought studios or one bedrooms, so that they can build and rent out luxury two bedroom accommodations - and the people paying for it have no place to stay. If I needed or could afford a two bedroom, I would have bought that. I bought what I needed as a single traveler - and that was supposed to be available this year. Last time I checked, we were into 2016 - and no guarantees at that. I heard they aren't even offering the studios anymore - but they sure kept my money. I can not afford to stay at a two bedroom, so I will be renting elsewhere when I go to MX for two weeks a year. Pretty sad when I've paid for a place to stay and I can't even use it.

I heard that they are breaking ground on the studios and l bedrooms, may be ready for Spring 2015. I understand your frustration but pre construction is always a gamble as far as time frame. I'm surprised you can find a place to rent elsewhere that is much cheaper than the 2 bedroom, even hotels are usually over $100 a night. Hopefully VG will have a place for you to stay in 2015!

It's very easy to find studio or one bedrooms for less than $800 a week in Bucerias - have been doing it for years. It's actually a fair price for a two bedroom, but as one person traveling, I certainly don't need a two bedroom, and don't want to pay for what I'm not using. Unfortunately, the sales people lied to me and told me that if the construction wasn't completed by August 2014, as stated in my contract, that I could stay at whatever they had available for the same price as the studio. I understand pre-construction is a gamble - would not have risked it at all if they hadn't told me that. My bad for not making them put it in writing. They just told me last month that they were not building the Sky Towers until late 2016. Since they have already changed the date three times, I am not that hopeful. And in the meantime, that means I paid for a unit that I can't use for at least three years from when I signed the contract. If they couldn't deliver, they could have bought back the property, as also stated in my contract - they have decided I don't qualify for the buy back - even though they have nothing in writing regarding the program. It's a nice property - they have just failed to fulfill contracts and promised amenities in the time stipulated. I'm sure you would feel the same way if they didn't have any two bedrooms available for you to use for at least three years of your contract. You are lucky you did not purchase a smaller unit.

We purchased Explore Your World on 6/30/14. Just found your forum question on Red Week. Has your problem been resolved? We contacted them by phone and e-mail 3 times. Got no response. Last time we called answering machine stated mail box full. Have you had any luck using the program?

Swiss Alliance Group The World Trade Center, Leutschenbachstrasse 95, Zurich 8050 Switzerland not found in Dun & Bradstreet data base. Closest match is Randstad (Schweiz) AG (Ranstad Switzerland LTD) also traded as Ranstad (Schseiz AG), Leutschenbachstrasse 45 Zurich, Switzerland, (headquarters)
Vallarta Gardens Resort & Spa were sending out in 2014, a Swiss Alliance Group, with a return address, as a common "DROP BOX" return address, as Swiss Alliance Group, 89 S.W. 8th Street, Suite 2000, Miami, Florida 33130 USA. (which share multiple names of individuals and small firms for such things as "impression management" to the bizarre to impress, ignorant intelligent consumers, that one has a worldly presence, in a tall high rise tower. The actual Swiss Annuity did not come to me from Zurich, Switzerland, but, from, a postmark, in Sorrento, British Columbia, CANADA The maturity date of the "Certificate from Swiss Annuity Group was in the year 2039, @6.99% APR (that is 25 years from this year 2014) for $16,770.00 I can only assume without interest, or, with interest??? The premium for this was paid by my credit card in the year 2014, for the exact amount of $1,172.22. Paid and billed from my credit card statement from a firm in Dade County Florida, exactly where the telephone call came from (Greater Miami Fla).I was told from Mexico City Mex but my Caller ID differed. D&B lists over twenty Premier Property Management firms from the state of Florida, and eight (8) from Greater Miami Florida, + eight (8) Swiss Alliance Group d/b/a, Swiss Realty Groups, d/b/a Swiss American Groups all with a different telephone number and address, in greater Miami, Dade County, Florida.
Both of the above either handle the "guaranteed" payoff in the "future" of a Annuity and/or a property rental of one's Vallarta Gardens Resort & Spa, rental, for no less, than $2500.00 per week, " a farce, a con, for anyone to rent at that price during rainy season, only between May 1, and Oct 31 of any year. One can easily find condo rental by the Pacific Ocean, in Puerto Vallarta, from existing time share "Fractional share owners" from $800.00 to $1800.00 per week right now, on the world wide internet, during the high season, including Christmas week and New Year's for a smaller condo, "not 3,500ft to 6,000 ft" but practical, right in the Vallarta Marina District.
On E-Bay, desperate sellers are offering Greater Puerto Vallarta resell fractional ownerships, from as low as US one dollar to a high of $8,000.00 nearly all in red week "winter season", or thru other reputable established Realtors, in the USA.
Vallarta Gardens offers, payments to those who owe them, a variety of two USA banks in New York City NY USA to San Antonio, Texas to their bank in Puerto Vallarta, MEX
They allegedly have offices in San Diego County California, (citation needed) based on their fancy colorized e-mails. Based on area codes, supplied, for locals in Mexico, to citizens within the USA, to yet another phone line for Canadian citizens.
They also have a affiliation with a Swiss division,of the alleged Swiss Alliance Group, in Panama City, Panama. Experience, tells me a $465.00 US paid for Dun & Bradstreet report will only give skimpy data, from a worldwide famous tax haven, who love their privacy, especially after they have been established in that country a minimum of 36 months. "Swiss Alliance Group, Ave Manuel Espinosa Batista, Edificio Antiguo NCR, ado Pisa Ofinsa 2, Corregimiento de Bella Vista, Districo de Panama Republica of Panama.
This data may not help ones insomnia, but it is all I have to offer.

I am happy to report that my credit card company decided in my favor over this unfortunate purchase, and I finally received my money back last week. It was a long process, and it got denied once, but when August rolled around and there was no sign of any studio units even in the process of being built, I was finally able to win on the fact that they didn't deliver the property I purchased. So, if you purchased a one bedroom or studio, and you paid with a credit card, you still have a chance of recovering your money. If you purchased a two bedroom, then probably not, since they did build those. It's unfortunate that they have been so unscrupulous in selling this property, because it certainly had the potential to be a great place to stay - which is why I fell for their sales tactics in the first place.

Way to go Deborah--I was commenting back in 2013 re: our purchase of a one bedroom back in Dec 2012 and I had stated that we were disputing our contract with actually 2 credit cards: Visa and American Express because we had used one for half and the other for half. It was a long hard time consuming process but we did win both of our disputes with Visa and AmerExpress at the end of of the year...after starting them it was about 8 months and we did lose both of them on the first try but Appealed both of them. We actually won the Visa one first (which I didn't expect because everyone said you won't win the Visa one but you might win the AmerExp). But AmerExp finally sided with us on a legal technicality that I had proof of on an email. I'm just so glad it's over! And I'm assuming that the contract is VOID if we got all our money back because they won't let us have the contract for free. They never responded to our request for cancellation of the contract in writing after we got our money back.

Yeah, I'm not surprised they didn't respond. If you tell them something they don't like - or catch them in a lie - their defense is to just ignore you! I have no HOA's to pay - mine were based on usage - so I don't expect to hear from them or get any kind of notice that I'm no longer a member. Honestly, I'm just so glad to be done with them. Now I can go back to Mexico and relax and enjoy my vacations - which is really the point, right?

Yes we were totally scammed by Vallarta Gardens. The one bedroom tower on the beach has not been built and never will. Punch in ( Is Vallarta Gardens a scam on Google) You won't believe the horror stories. We were turned down twice on our credit card (Discover) and finally just last week they told me that Vallarta Gardens admitted they were a scam and took full liability for what they did to us. We are getting all our money back. The rental company they used Premiere Properties, are not giving our money back yet.... We are still working on that. What a mess. Beautiful place but will never see what we bought and they fessed up to that...
Janet C.
So glad to hear someone else got their money back too! It was an uphill battle, but worth the effort. I still lost the $500 I paid for the scam of an annuity policy, but that's nothing compared to getting all my money back from the actual contract. Good riddance to that pack of thieves!!
Deborah R.
Deborah, my husband and I fell for their scam too. We were too trusting and how unbelievable we are in this situation now. We purchased 1 week VG timeshare in April 2014 with a promise that their hired agency Premiere Property Management will guarantee the sale of our other timeshare in 180 days which was last Friday, Oct 17th. They were all lies and today PPM said the buyer's loan was denied by his bank so no sale transaction is happening. Must be the overused alibi they are continuously using to scam people. We are fuming with madness how we fell into VG's bait.
Were you able to cancel the VG contract even after the rescission period on the premise that we were lied to? Of course we would have not bought the VG timeshare without being guaranteed by their PPM to sell our other timeshare. Truly appreciate your response.

So sorry for your loss. We too lost thousands of dollars. We persisted our credit card company to investigate these people. We had three hearings. The third they said was the last. I had Re/Max letters saying they were a fraud and shot them to several web sites like these to get proof. Finally VG admitted liability after threatening us and writing several letters to our credit card company. We got all our money back except from Premier Properties. I say we are one lucky couple. It took a lot of our time but was worth every minute. File a complaint with your credit card company and stick to it...
Janet C.
Janet thank you for replying. Pls confirm that you were able to cancel your VG contract even months after the rescission due to deceitful business transaction? You stated you had 3 hearings, did you go down to Mexico for these hearings? We had fully paid our contract, part was through Amex bec VG won't allow us to process the whole amount with Amex and the rest our hard-earned money. Please confirm and thanks for your input.
