So excited for the "tremendous initial response" as Jeff describes it. I wish I could be there but at least hope we, the ones far away, will be able to be informed in some electronic way possible. As an owner so very grateful to all those hosting the event. Best wishes to all !!!!

I am sorry I am unable to attend, but would be interested in a streaming of the meeting, or being there via phone conferencing. I had a disturbing experience with the MC this week. They try their darndest to keep us from using our rooms. Our contract ends July 30, so I had booked three nights that we had been unable to use, for July 25, 26, and 27. I worked it out so we could use July 25 and 26 but not the 27, so I went on a wait list for July 17 because I could give that night to a friend. They called me this week to say I could get the 17th. Great (I thought). I could cancel the 27th and take the 17th. But, no, they said I had to cancel all three days and then go back on a wait list for the 25th and 26th if I wanted to keep those two nights. I spoke with Jose Rosario, and he said that is just their policy. He admitted that there is currently no one on a wait list for the 27th, so that would not be hurting another owner if I cancel that night. It makes totally no sense. They are not even trying to be helpful, even though they know the owners are on to their scheme. Patty

pattyh,
nothing much makes sense about the reservation process or the increases of our maintenance fees at TMC...............but................what else is new? i think we'll be able to change things for the better after our owners' meeting and the outcome of the AG'S LAWSUIT (that is, of course, unless eichner declares bankruptcy!) another point: personally, i believe phone conferencing (and its setup) would be rather expensive; however, streaming of the owners' 8/2/15 meeting appears to be a viable alternative.
anyway, here's to US, SHAREOWNERS OF THE MANHATTAN CLUB!

I will not be able to attend the Aug 2 meeting, because I will be out of the country and in Iceland with family. I have had these plans for some time and made them before I knew anything of the meeting.
I agree with the suggestion that a list of members who cannot attend be kept as well.
Obviously, not everyone can attend for various reasons. And, many who cannot attend, have become involved, kept themselves apprised of the situation, participated in the blog, submitted paperwork to the AG etc. in an effort of solidarity, including me.
Having such a list can only help the cause.
