anyone been to this resort?
(Omnicorp Development in Illinois = Executive Properties in Texas) + Coco Sunset in CR = SCAM For more info and proof, contact Karla, at steilka@iowatelecom.net. And, Barney, you're awfully worked up -- but apparently not enough to contact Karla. We're putting together a response, and there is power in numbers.

Barney, 1 person against Coco = probable failure or worse (for example, alerting them prematurely). Many people against Coco (and Executive Properties and Omnicorp and any others they bring in) may = success. Why not contact Karla at steilka@iowatelecom.net to find out what we are trying to do?
Patrick T.
Omnicorp Development can be contacted in Springfield, Illinios at 217-718-3394. omnicorpdevelopment.com. I purchased the Fractional Ownership on April 8, 2012. I guess I will find out if this was a legitimate purchase within 300 days when my timeshare sale is finalized.
Daniel T.
Please, PLEASE, do not wait! Contact us and we can tell you that NOT ONE PERSON has received a penny from Omnicorp. Omnicorp and Executive Properties are run the same, and EP has been scamming now for over 3 years -- again, no one has received anything. Because people finally were catching up to EP (their BBB rating is now F), Coco switched to Omnicorp some months ago, exactly for the reason you cite: with them being new, no one would start to question them until those magic 300 days were up. By then who knows where they'll be? Again, contact Karla at steilka@iowatelecom.net for the complete story -- and PLEASE, if you have not paid yet, stop payment! Enough have been ripped off...

I just e mailed the person you refered me to. I will wait to see what information she has to offer me. I am due to pay Coco Sunset on April 22, 2012. Then a final payment in June. What experience did you have with them? I did read a lot of reviews and none sound good. It looks like I was another buyer ripped off. I tried sending my sales rep. and e mail but I did not get a response. I just called and left a meesage via telephone. Maybe she will call me back?????

Just wondered how things worked out. We just did the same thing in Dec. of 2012. We ended up buying 4 weeks but paid a whole lot more than you did. They are supposed to buy our other inexpensive time share and we are to get rental every year. The trick is that we can never use that resort. They tell us that we can stay at really fancy hotels for the same or less, so we are better off to do the rental. There is such a huge time lag that it is very hard to make any changes after you give them so much money.
I hope it's working for you, because I'm really nervous.
Jinger M.
Yes, unfortunately you should be nervous. No one has received a dime. The more of us join together, the more powerful our case, and the better shot we have at getting these crooks out of business. Please contact Karla at steilka@iowatelecom.net for more info.

This is not the first place to do this, the rental aspect sounds really good and if like our resort they offer to buy your other timeshares when they really cannot legaly transfer them. Ours, did give us a credit towards there timeshare, but of course you pay more than on the resale market. but you buy thinking your profit is going to pay for your vacation anyways. Has anyone of you checked out the timesharescam.org site. Was just checking out the site the other day. It has alot of info on it. Take a minute to check it out. I saw it refered to on the Redweek.com forum. recently. It may of been on timeshare buying and resales.

Hi,
We are in the same boat. We were setup under Optimus Inventory Distribtion. We are coming up to the 300 days and can't get any feedback from them. Has anyone looked into the Timeshare Cancel Service noted at Timesharescam.org?
As for a class action suite, that's going to cost even more dollars.

All these timeshare resale companies seem to be run by the same persons. Executive Properties, Omnicorp Development and now Optimus Inventory Distribution. They make you believe that you will receive your money in 300 days which gives them 300 days to continue their scam until they have to settle down at a new resort or change the name of the timeshare resale company.
