I see this morning that Bj Cooke has disappeared from Facebook. So far, lots of the other bandits are there like the 3 or 4 EPS guys, Randy Canfield, and others. Looks like Bj is starting the bail out process and will leave the others holding the bag.

They again, maybe he is turning CI for the state of Florida in the case posted by RCI. After all, the first squealer gets the smaller sentence. The chin bearded rats from Ottawa are starting to leave the sinking ship.

Once again, we have to be determined that quitting is NOT a option and we are all going to do whatever it takes to bring these guys down. Here are the companies that are owned by Robert Guy Russell, Nonna Russell, Brandon "B.J. Cooke & William "Bill" Redford. ________________________________________________________ A few of the company names listed below...... (they are the same) ________________________________________________________ R&R Venture Group, R&R Closing, R&R Medical Group, (PRL) Point Rental Liquidators, Getaway Marketing, (EPS) Excess Property Solutions, (GLH) Grand Leisure Holidays, (GDS) Global Destinations Consulting, (VSI) Vacation Services International, LLC, Redford Getaway Enterprises, (TERP) Timeshare Enhancement Relief Project, Doctors Express in Henderson, NV, World Traveler's Advocate and on & on.

Update from TN: After roughly 6 weeks I received word from the TN AG office that they have been unable to get a response back from PRL. Said that they'd keep trying and, in addition, will lump my complaint in with a multitude of others they received together about other timeshare "scams". Also said that they have forwarded my complaint on to the FTC to assure that PRL is receiving multi-level scrutiny. I advised them about the wealth of info on Redweek and the benefit they might gain by perusing the 50+ pages here.

I received word back from the Illinois Attorney General today. They sent my complaint on to R&R Venture Group. As I stated on this post earlier, I got a call from the customer dispute coordinator at R&R Venture Group (Lisa) telling me that they were sending my file to the "large" legal department for further action. This "large legal department" has responded to the Illinois Attorney General on Nelson Law stationary which says: "We represent R&R Venture Group, an entity which handles outsourced sales and marketing by various companies. We have reviewed the agreement signed by Mr. _________ and everything appears to be in order. Should you need additional information, do not hesitate to contact the undersigned." Sharon L. Nelson.

The website of Nelson Law is www.nelsonlawlv.com. Take a look at their website. So much for the "large legal department".

I now have 10 days to respond to the Illinois Attorney General or my case will be closed. I will be sending them all of the things I have found out about my "contract", what R&R Venture Group has done to the contract by canceling my "lifetime" membership with EPS, the company that is supposed to pay me $12,000 on August 15, 2013, but now cannot do that because my "lifetime" membership has been cancelled, and the information about RCI's law suit against R&R, EPS, and VSI. I will also include all of the pertinent materials from this site, and my complaint to the Federal Trade Commission. Let's see what happens then.

To johnm2748, First of all, Lisa "The Customer Dispute Coordinator at R&R Venture Group" is just a office worker that answers the phones. The Illinois Attorney General office is working with the Wisconsin Attorney General on the same case. R&R Venture Group does not and ever have had a legal department. The Nelson Law offices are and very small firm that will take work from any one. Believe me, they know everything is NOT in order. PLEASE respond back ASAP. They don't have a leg to stand on. On August 15th, if you don't have your check from R&R Venture Group or EPS - Excess Property Solutions that is "Services not Rendered". Your phone read "RCI" when they called to have you come to the meeting. They misled you from the gate. Filing with the Illinois Attorney General office is a GREAT thing, they are very aware of what has been going in their backyard and they don't like it. GOOD FOR YOU. Good luck to you and we all wish you the best. ps: I went to www.nelsonlawlv.com , what a joke, any two year old could make a website like that, WHAT A JOKE.

38 pages of supporting material sent to the Illinois Attorney General covering the "Timeshare Enhancement and Relief Project" scam being run by the "Chin-Beard" gang from Morris/Ottawa, Illinois area led by their leader in hiding, BJ Cooke. The same material has been sent as supporting material to the Federal Trade Commission complaint filed in early June.

I am wondering if I should send this material to Sharon Nelson of the Nelson Law firm in Las Vegas who said she represents R&R Venture Group and has seen my contract and "it looks fine". Or should we just surprise her when she is called to testify in the upcoming trials?

Let her earn her money and find out for herself.

Everyone needs to visit this website: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ And file your complaint. We just did, and it only takes about 5 minutes.

To johnm2748, Do NOT send Sharon Nelson of the Nelson Law firm in Las Vegas any thing. As donp196 says "Let her earn her money and find out for herself" She has been Guy Russell's lawyer for a good while now. She already knows what Guy & Nonna Russell are like and what they do. B.J. Cooke is still out there so if anyone hears anything like marketing companies calling you inviting you to a RCI meeting, post it here so we can shut it down.

One of the TERP groups was someplace in Utah last week and are now offering a $1000 discount and another additional 55,000 points if you pay with a personal check rather than a credit cards. Seems to point to the lose of the merchant account by R&R.

This group's pitch also implied that they were working with the federal government to provide assistance to those people who were former RCI members but had not taken advantage of the "lawsuit" benefits when they were made available.

I have asked one of the attendees if they remember any of the names of the people they talked to.

I received a call from someone who identified themselves as RCI- GLH and wanted to meet with me at Logan's Steak House in Holland Mi. Tuesday or Wednesday. She identified herself Melissa. Caller ID phone # 770-439-7933 I'm unable to attend so if anyone read this post beware!! I called RCI, and they said this not them soliciting meeting.

Why have several of the previous posts been deleted? Who is in charge? What's the criteria for posting?

Jul 22, 2013

I just called Logan's in Holland, Michigan and talked to a manager there. I was the 12th person to call them today and they have gotten clearance from their corporate owners to send the chin-beard gang from Ottawa, Il out the door when they arrive. I will check tomorrow to see if that has happened. This is the only way we are going to put these dirt-bags out of business. Keep providing any information about calls you get so we can shut this down even while the AG's and the FTC are pressing legal actions.
